PurKote™ is a line of controlled release fertilizers (CRF) for turf and ornamental plants.
Purkote™ fertilizers, with their unique coating, synchronize nutrient delivery with the plant's nutritional needs throughout the growing season. They are designed to continuously feed plants with maximum nutritional efficiency while reducing nutrient loss through leaching, volatilization, or denitrification.
The release of nutrients depends primarily on temperature. Water conditions, soil pH, and microbial activity do not affect the nutrient release rate. PurKote™ fertilizer release times are based on a constant soil temperature of 30°C.
