Spanish River Carbonatite is a naturally sourced fertilizer and soil conditioner used by organic and conventional growers.

Spanish River Carbonatite contains a range of available minerals that are extracted from an ancient magmatic deposit in northeastern Ontario. Carbonatite deposits belong to the unique and rare group of highly reactive alkaline (igneous) rocks. These mineral constituents rank at the top of all minerals in terms of solubility, reactivity and diversity (up to 50 types). This product contains, among others, calcite, apatite (rock phosphate), biotite and vermiculite, rare soils and a multitude of other minerals and trace elements.

Application

  • One application per year
  • This product should be used as part of a complete fertilization program that includes a nitrogen source
  • Mix 1 part SRC with 10 parts compost or substrate, or apply directly 0.5 kg / m²
  • On agricultural land the average dose is 1100 kg / ha

May be allowed in organic production
