ProBlad (BLAD polypeptide 20%) is a broad-spectrum fungicide of natural origin registered for the control of various diseases in grapes, strawberries (field and greenhouse), solanaceous crops (field and greenhouse), blueberries, stone fruits, and ornamental plants (outdoor and greenhouse).

ProBlad® works rapidly upon contact with fungal organisms by targeting several essential sites within fungal cells simultaneously. The BLAD protein binds to chitin found in spores, hyphae, and mycelium, disrupting both the cell wall and cell membrane. Its chelating action on essential minerals also interferes with fungal metabolism, generating irreversible oxidative stress that leads to fungal cell death within 6 to 24 hours.

Thanks to its multi-site mode of action, targeting the cell wall, cell membrane, and fungal metabolism, ProBlad® helps reduce the risk of resistance development and serves as a valuable tool in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs.
