A completely soluble grade of calcium chloride containing 28% calcium. Used to prevent leaf or bract edge burn on poinsettias. Recommended application of 200-400 ppm calcium applied to foliage at weekly intervals once bracts begin to show colour. Use 70 to 140 g calcium chloride per 100 L water.

 

Used in hydroponic fertilizer mixes when extra calcium is needed without the extra nitrogen. Also dissolved or spread and used to control dust on laneways, etc.
